Our mission is to better equip educators to teach social studies by providing an opportunity for professional development and networking as well as resources and materials for the classroom. This year's theme includes such session topics as :

  • State and Regional History
  • Multicultural History
  • Civics, Government and Economics
  • Elementary
  • Interdisciplinary Instruction

Call for session proposals!

We are now accepting session proposals. If you know of outstanding projects in the classroom that meet our theme and will help regional teachers meet curriculum standards, please submit a proposal for the chance to participate in this year's conference.

"This was a great learning experience. Every presenter was enthusiastic, prepared and shared interesting information. I learned so much and can't wait to go back to the classroom to share with my students!"
